To help with the installation and purchase process, the first step you will want to take is to measure your wall(s). This step is important before installing, but it’s also a crucial step in the purchasing process. When filling out your order, you want to ensure you buy enough products to get the desired results. Follow these 5 easy steps to measure your walls and get started on transforming your home.

Step 1: Measure the width of your wall

Start by measuring the width of your wall(s) with a tape measure. Make sure to write down any measurements in inches, not feet. Our product calculator inputs both the width/length and height of your wall to determine the exact amount of product that will fit your space.

Step 2: Measure the height of your wall

Next, measure the height of your wall with a tape measure. Note the number as inches, not feet.

*Note: During install, you can choose any place on your wall to start, but we recommend starting in the middle of your wall and measure four rows down and mark your starting point.

Step 3: Lets measure what you wont be covering

Now let’s measure what you will not be covered, such as a door or a window. Again, you will measure the width and height in inches and enter those numbers into the “subtract a door or window” drop-down in the product calculator. Make sure to include the entire area of the door and window that will not be covered by panels. This includes the trim and door frame. Use this handy calculator to see how much space you’ll need to cover.
